skills points and rank.

what up with the skill points and how do they work. and how do you move up in rank. i been stuck a 2 in rank for the last month but i have beat people with the rank of 8, 12, 2, 2, 5, and never go up..

on the ps2 i know every 600 points you move up in rank but on the ps3 there no info and if so where do i find it.

Can i use my old headset or do i need a bluetooth.
