how can i get effect pressure from the 3-4 defense

Iuse to play the 4-3 defense and i recently switch to the 3-4 defense and i seem to be getting run on and also not able to shutdown the pass to the running backs out in the flat, is there a defense in the 3-4 defense that can help me with this problem, i play out of the ravens defense playbook and 3 birds fire is just not getting the job done nor is crossfire defense either most of the time by the thrid quarter my defense is not able to catch a cold i tried blitzing but all that dose is lead to me giving up the lead and when i switch to cove 2 or cover 3 i am pick apart lickey split so i ask the pannel is there something that can be done to help me with my defense. im out alc

i use the 3-4 normal, strike spy 2 when i notice they like to go to the flats alot. 1st pinch the D-line and 2nd Shif the L-backers to the right. i usually control the LOLB and manually protect the middle or the left side of the field since the right side is covered by shifting my l-backers over!

I use a 3-4 and anytime someone has sucess throwing to the flats, call any play that covers both sides. Once they are unsucessful gaining yards, they'll stop doing it.

You have to realize, also, when you call man blitzes, you are leaving backs uncovered. Try using more zone blitzes, as this will cover most of the field left uncovered but still putting pressure on the QB. Keep in mind, if you don't get to the QB, there will be holes in the D, if he's got enough time to throw.
