IMO the pass coverage in this game is fine. Yes guys are open a ton but in real college football guys are open all day. It would be nice to see some higher ranked corners jump routes more but imo this is not the issue. The problem is the game physics. Qbs and wrs are this years impact rbs. They are super human.

First the superhuman qbs. QBs in this game can throw the ball 70-80 yards standing still. Yesterday on ESPN they had the college qb challenge. These guys without pads with a 10 yard running start threw ducks that barely went 60 yards. EA needs to take away 20-30% of every qbs arm str in teh game. This will really hurt the excessive dropback guys and also add the defens ebecause now it is way to stretched.

Also can EA make two accurate settings one for short and one for long. It is so stupid my qb cant hit a 3 yard hitch but can throw a perfect 80 yard bomb.

Next are the wrs and how stupid they are inthis game. All wrs in this game should be on their 5th knee surgies. How stupid is it that a wr running a streak and come to a dead stop and jump back for the ball. There is no momentum for wrs. While you are mnaually controlling your db who has the momentum of turning a mac truck. If you take away the insane non momentum I bleieve many passes that are caught would end up being wild passes that could lead to int. This combined with the new pass leading feature makes an ultimate arcade like passing experience.

IMO these are the flaws with the passing game as far as coverage is concerned. The best part these would be very easy programming issues for Ea to fix.

I disagree that coverage is fine. There is a lack of aggression for defenders in pass defense that is a serious problem. It is somewhat mitigated by Heisman, and this shows how bad AA is. Also, some of the zone assignments are just messed up. The CBs in cover 2 should cover the outside threat to the flats everytime. Their next priority, if nobody is in the flat, is to sink back and help on any deep WR to their side. They should never be coming all the way to the hashmark.

Also, man coverage is stupid. because defenders NEVER take a chance and go for a ball. And basically every route other than a streak gets open vs man coverage, everytime.

I don't disagree with you about the problems that you listed. The other thing that I would note is that WRs don't get tired, but DBs (especially user controlled DBs) do. Thus you have plays when the QB runs around forever and the DBs have to run and cover the WRs, and the defense gets tired but the offense doesn't. In real life you couldn't run all deep routes on offense, because the WRs wouldn't be able to stay fresh.

Funny point I once had a game against OSU and the guy had Ginn at safety. He never got close to be tired. It was so stupid.
