NEXT GEN - this is a play that i use quite often but im the bears and not the jags(who i just played) and this guy really liked calling weak i twin wr fb dive and would motion the slot wr in and hike the ball right when he is in front of the fb.
this is a great play and in the hands of Greg Jones it was the most rediculous thing to stop. and also one of my plays was weak i twin wr hb trap and use the motion to and call hike when the wr is on the other side of the qb.
i was calling 46 normal inside blitz and outside rush for hte most part. every time i could just Tell when he was going to run the fb dive because he was predictable. i would shift the line in and crash them in and shift the LBs in and because his hike was off of a timing system i was able to JUMP SNAP every damn time but he would call hike, take a step with jones and truck stick his way for positive yardage every play but once.
now i think that that play is just good vs teh 46 because of that gap that this run play goes through that is between the dt and de on the left. now, being the smart person i am, lol, towards the end of the game when i was trying to adjust, i shifted my line in, and then shifted it to the left. this brought the SDT and DE on the right in, and put my WDT JOHNSON in the gap.
so i had that filled, but i still had a hard time stopping it.
and at any time he could call hb trap or fool me by calling a PA because that is also something that i like to do because the motion distraction keeps everybodys thoughts on the run.
How would you stop this fb dive?
i have a feeling i will be playing this guy again. i played him once and murdered him, that is where im guessing he stole my weak i twin wr plays, and then this time i played him i lost by one touchdown (mostly because he got lucky with fumbles, both fumbles i forced and fumbles he forced, but it was a gg and i still give him props)
