Well, I hated the 360 version - and I still think its inferior to the current gen versions,
but I picked it up anyway. There's a local tourney soon. I'm the defending champ, and
it was decided to move it to the 360. I can't go out without defending my title,
so I'm in. I've played a few games of it, and I'm 10-0. The thing is, I haven't played
anyone good. If I keep beating up on bums, I'll never win the tourney. My online
name is GAV60. Expect to be blitzed 100% of the time. I roll with the Eagles or Titans.

If you can give me the whuppin I need to get ready, holla at me. I'm not particular
about your gameplan. Do what you do.

Id play you but you blitz 100% of the time so it would be a waste of time.

I just got your messages. I'll be on later tonight if you are.

Why? Does your offensive scheme matchup well with blitzes?
What type of stuff do you see that makes blitzes so easy to
beat?

my advice to you is to learn as many nanos as possible and get your stick skills way up. im not sure if it will be allowed or not but if you see others go goalline things could get tough, but as long as your d is better than theirs is you could just run that back at em.

offense is pretty easy

They're very easy to create from 3 man line sets. With the
3-4, just pinch and shift the blitzer behind the NG. You can
do the same with 335 sets (try Slice), but you have to move
the DEs in closer - manually. With the 4-3, they usually
involve lifting a DT - and it takes a little longer to set up.
I started manually blitzing the SS from Quarter with a stack
and pinch. Works well to get pressure and mix coverage as
well. Uset skills are tougher than on Ps2 though. User picks
are tough. I have some GL run nanos, but I'm a little slow on
the setup. GL hasn't been a problem yet, and I've played GL
users. They abandoned it after a Q. They weren't good though.

Nah Just the fact that you would blitz 100% of time would be a waste of time to play you. Cheese.

Can anybody explain to me how I can play with my franchise online? I was wondwering if this is possible. I have a pretty good team of players that I put together and I would like to use them against people I play online.

Ok, cool. I was busy with final last week, but I'll add you.
My tourney is next week. I DO NOT want to be in the cooler
game, which if you lose - you get the beers.

LOL at you "str8 players" and your cheese. Why not give your opponents a list of
rules, plays they can and cannot use, and appropriate times of when to try and
win - and when they should lay down and let you win. People that cry about
cheese are all bums. Their mindset won't allow them to be anything BUT a bum.

The worst are bums, that cry about cheese - so they can bum-hunt. Why not find
some pre-schoolers and take their trikies - that way you can feel tough. Its no
different then looking for bums to beat, then thinking you are actually good. ;) :p :D

I hate using the Titan's defense, their LBs are way too slow to put pressure on good players (except for bulluck). How do u roll wid them?

I usually bring heat w/ their slow LBs, and spy the QB/short pass
with Bullock. Its more important to make the QB move then to
get him. Its easy to get pressure with the 3-4, regardless of
speed. KVB gets at least two a game for me. Thornton is usually
good for two. Same with Haynesworth.

Ive played ones to twenty-sixes. Level is irrellevant.
I played smallman from here (superkeem) - and he's
probably the best I've played. I think he's a LVL 1.

level doesnt always reflect skill level, but most of the time it does in my opinion. Guys level 1 to 5 online are usually much different from 8 to 10. and 11 to 15 is much different from 8 to 10... etc. Ofcourse there are some experienced players who just got xbox live or just made a new account, making them level one all over again.

In theory, yes, they are a decent indication of skill. However, take the following people into account:

- people who have kept their level from 06 and haven't done that well in 07.

- people who win using glitches

- people who don't care about rankings and will quit as soon as they are getting glitched

- people who are on their way and are getting better fast

- peopel who are generally loyal to a bad team who sometimes use good teams

The problem with judging using rating is that there are alot of people out there who sucked when they first started. With disconnects, disc reading errors and just plain not being good, I started off like 5-22.

Also, you have to look at some people's average opponent level (AOL). Some players will only play bad opponents while other will play people 20 levels above them.

well yea michura you do have some valid points because me i play alot of unranked games and my record is 3-8 and i haven't lost a ranked game yet all my losses were from disconnections so imo record doesn't really matter because i think i can take down a couple of people with far better records than me

I judge 360 players the same way I judge Ps2 players.
They are good if they can give me a good game. They
are great if I can't beat them. I'm new to 360 Madden,
but I'm an old school player. I know what to look for
and how to find what does what quickly. I have working
schemes in place. I'm good in the pocket. Now I need
to make more consistent manual plays. 360 manual D
is tough. The controls are really touchy.

I've been manually blitzing the strongside A Gap with the FS
from the 46 Bear. It gets in immediately, but its easy to see
coming. I'm looking forward to getting VG's 360 Blitz book.

The disparity among the level of play between good and bad players is
astounding on the 360. Guys that have a working scheme in place and switch
to make plays on the 360 are very few. I need to stop with Play Now games.
Winning games 77-6 is no fun at all.
