When you meet cheesy players online, do you feel that its just a part of the game, or is it really unsportsmanlike?
For example: onside kick audibling, goal line (all day), Michael Vick scramble 20 yards back and throw, running clock since the beginning of the 2nd quarter, going for 2 every time... etc.
Btw... let's discuss anti goal line strategies.
I have played this guy that did pretty well vs goal line, he used his DL and ran sideways instead of attacking the block straight on and then curled around to make the tackle. This could be easily countered by user lead blocking though and one can always run away from that side.

There are more serious issues than the ones you listed, such as freeze-glitching. However, some things that you did list are rather annoying. The Vick thing doesn't bother me, though. People that do that are often terrible. If you can't beat that, then you must be terrible as well. I used to get frustrated with those people until I got better. Now, the only people that frustrate me with Vick are people that actually know what they are doing.

What is freze glitching? I think I had that happen to me the other day. I was winning 10-0 and all of a sudden the game froze. I thought he had something to do with it at first, but I haven't removed my Disk from my Xbox for awhile and thought that was the problem.

I haven't see a lot online disconnection glitches or at least thought it was. I have a had a few games where my screen froze. I just figured it was on my end. For most part as far game glitches go, I don't let it get to me, most of it if not all of it can be counter one way or another. If I can't get counter it and get it handed to me, I go into the lab and try to figure out how to stop it, plus I look at the play and see if I can't incorpate into my offense some how. Overall I actually enjoy the 360 version more so than the PS2/Xbox version. I feel there is more strategy to the game. On the CG everyone runs same type of crap on both sides of the ball.

I am going to venture on the PS3 side of the fence and see how it goes. I will use the PS3 as my training ground....

Agreed, unless you play the vick scramble masters. I have been beaten by a high LV vick user who scrambled 20 yards back and throw, he did this weird play where he would have dunn in the slot and dunn runs a deep cross route that would go behind any deep zone coverage. It would almost be an instant score every time. I guess i could have manually defended it, but i was a lv 3 back then, and i didnt call alot of deep coverages like cover 4, but dunn ran behind cover 2s and cover 3s all the same.
About the freeze glitch, i hope its just the CD and not the people playing that is making my cd.

Ah, yes! Cheeser Ballers. I guess we have all had our runs with them. Doesn't it just ruin the fun out of Madden? Now I'm very cautious of who I play online. I'm checking stats, looking at records. If I see someone who has win ratio of 10/1, I'm not playin them. Example, Krazy, last I saw, was 351-50. Come on, no one's that good without cheezin. So anyone with high wins/low loses, I'm not playin (not to say that everyone with a good record is a cheeser, I'm just not takin a chance).

Second thing I look for is run/pass%. If I see 85% run and 15% pass, I beleive this would be a goaliner/clock killer. I'm not playin you either.

The kind that are hard to predict are the 4th downers. You know, the ones who NEVER punt. Even if it's 4th and 25 on their own 10. I hate these kind the most. They usually end up frustrating themselves and quiting. Leaving me to finish the game against the CP.

The Vick problem? Just don't play the Falcons. 9 out of 10 times I play the Falcons, it's nothing but cheese. Why take the chance?

Overall, I just wanna have fun. When I do play someone who plays straight, it's usually a close game and enjoyable, even if I don't win.

Basically, your screen will freeze on both sides and the game won't be recorded. It can only be done with 4-3 type playbook. The person would have to set certain exact plays as their defensive audibles. What this will do is make one of the audible blank. When the person wants to freeze glitch, they just audible into that blank play and the game will freeze.

Before people do, don't anybody ask me what the plays are because I don't remember them (it was posted on another site and it was taken down quickly by admin) nor would I tell anyone even if I did.
