The blitz book is done for NG. Because of the random blitz angles on the CG, the set ups won't work the same.

I have 07 360. Is this guide more for online playing How effective is it in franchise mode. I really enjoy chise but sometimes my defense is weak. I tried the example given (46 plug cover 1) It didn't work well if the RB stayed in on blocking assignments but otherwise cool.

Hey, had a quick question about this guide. Will this guide work for Next Gen NCAA 08 and Madden 08 by chance? i would like to pick it up if so, just want to make sure before i purchase it.

1) There are no random blitz angles on the NCAA 08 demo
2) Quite a few of the blitzes from the guide worked on the demo

Now that you have played the game, do the blitzs still work from the guide. I am going to buy it if they do.

We have not went through them all yet. As soon as we do, we will let you know. We are planning on re-releasing the guide with updated images once we double check it. Plus, we will be adding some new stuff since there are individual hot routes added to Madden 08.

I like it.... good stuff.... but like you said in the write up.. you better get home cause you'll be paying for it if you dont...

also.. I couldn't see it very well.. in the original play design.. is the ss coming on th blitz anyway.. or are you manually sending him??...

Bearmike, what defense. There is like 100 plus in the book.

Sorry.. LOL.. I think it was 46 bear.. its the first one on the link... LOL

It says to move the ss up into the box. behind the L dt.. and I cant tell if in the play the ss is set to blitz or if you are saying to manually blitz.

No, it's for 07, although some of the blitz set ups work for 08.

Right now the plan is to release the 46, 4-3, and 3-4/Pats defensive guides. Not sure on anything else at this point.

Love the book. I run the 4-3 def. and there are many plays that are in there. However, when running 4-6 Normal A/B gap blitz, I getting killed by the run of Left Guard and Tackle. Anyone know how to stop this when running a 4-6 Normal?

You will have control the FS and cheat to the side of where you think the run will go. This should force the HB to run back inside.
