As far as big-time madden tournaments go, the ones that have the huge qualifiers and prizes, how good are those guys?
Would you ever run into someone on their level online? Or are they on a way different level?
What kind of competition could I stand to see at these types of tournaments?
Can anyone give me some type of gauge based on online play about how good I should be before entering?
For example, I should be able to just about beat everyone online, should really lose few and far between against anyone, be able to get so many user picks or give up no more than this amount of points etc.
Just to give anyone interested in responding an idea of my level of play, online, I basically can go with anyone and I beat most people. However, when I do lose its usually pretty close until the end and I have rarely gotten blown out. I try to play better ranked people online but you can't always chose and I play most anyone that doesn't have a fishy career or too high a DNF%.
My real big weakness is my lack of control on players on defense. I am not even close to getting the skill behind user picking down and in general not very good at user controlling during any type of risky situation.
Also, during tournaments, is there rules against obsessive audibling, running hurry-up all game, and punt blocking? I still have trouble at times against these tactics.
