Good article and it confirms what the better platform is. I think this just boosted me to 99.9% favoring purchase of the 360.

There was some bias with this fellow.

He points out some things that seem to be basically right -- such as PS3 being harder to develop for.

But to say PS3 is on its way out is purely speculative and hyperbol.

Do you think sony for some odd reason made PS3 a million times harder to program on than PS2 or PS1? I doubt it. The difference is probably Microsoft entering the market and providing programming tools for their product development that weren't around till now.

Even this fellow said that PS3 technically has more room top end games. As long as PS3 moves units and demand is there for their product, the games will come. (even if not overnight)

That said, XBox 360 is obviously a stayer in the market and has provided a platform very easy to make use of in game development.

If they're going to have a better version of NCAA this year, I'll go there.

Yep... I may like my 3, but the unit to have is the 60....

I rather have add ons (i.e hard disk drive, dvd player etc.) than what the 3 has. Its too scary for me. Its like having parrallel versus series circuit. If someone goes wrong on one parallel circuit, it won't stop the others from working. But if something goes wrong on a series circuit... Well you might as well chuck the whole thing....

60 FPS says my 360 is better than PS3 for ALL football games this year!! Only running at 30 FPS on PS3. Thats for Madden, NCAA, and ALL-PRO 2K8. I buy a console to play games, not watch movies!
