I play on 360... as Arkansas (B+ rated defense) in dynasty...
I've played about 6 games vs. CPU, five of them on Varsity and one on All-American. AA was so hard I thought I was playing on Heisman. I've always played AA from the get-go on previous versions, but not on 08.
That said, I haven't stopped anyone I've played. The ONLY way I've stopped 'em is by interception or fumble and that is nothing I did -- it was my CPU controlled player making the pick or gathering the fumble. In six games I've probably forced MAYBE 6 punts.
Mostly teams are passing like a hot knife through butter... I try to match their receivers -- if they go 3 wide, I counter with nickle or dime, 4 or 5 wide and I go with dime. I tried using a lot of zone, which worked too well on 07, but the QBs picked it apart. Now I start with 2 deep man and mix in zone blitzes.
My last game Kentucky was running a lot out of 3 and 4 wide sets and was chipping off 7-10 yards per run. I went to the 4-3 and played lots of zone blitzes. I only got one sack and I only gave up 14 points, but they moved at will and I felt helpless and bored.

I wish I could help. I was getting pretty good with 07 ranked in the top 400 and I had just beaten two top 10 players and a few other top 100 players. Now this comes out and I am getting my butt kicked by everybody. I'll start beating people online and then I'll throw two interceptions. The DE in this game is on steroids. I still dont know if I like it or not. It pisses me off I'll throw to a wide open WR and the CB who is 5 yards away will intercept. I am going into practice mode to work on my timing. what pisses me off the most is that you may have three seconds to throw the ball even without a blitz coming because the 4 down Lineman blow up my OL.

Same. One 07 PS2 I was in the top 100 and my defense was impregnable. Now I have no idea how to stop anything. These 360 controls are screwing my game up big time.

I'd still rather have a 360.
This NCAA is definitely the best. I'm on 360 too.
Stopping the cpu on Heisman is easy. Just mix fast zone and man blitzes up - then back off every now
and then with a man or zone prevent type scheme - but hot read a blitzer - or manual him - while
spreading the DL and crashing in - through an A Gap. I use the 425 book, but the 335 Stack works as
well - as does the 3-4, and even the 4-3. For 4-3, try the Mike Blitz - and shift the LBs toward the TE.

Alright I'm going to give it a shot, I get killed on AA but eveyone keeps telling me to practice on heisman if I want to get good. I guess I'll either get good, break a controller, or sell my game back. If I'm lucky I'll be able to smoke some crack and say "stopping the cpu on heisman is easy"
I hope I never get the "pleasure" of playing you, it would be 100 to nothing before half time. I don't have a clue how ya'll say playing on heisman is easy.

I just beat Michigan in their building using Kentucky on Heisman - and I'm certainly not
the best player on these boards. Once you realize what to look for - and what to do, it
becomes easy. Especially, remain patient. Keep your cool. The final score was 38-10.

No doubt. They have a good RB too. He's quick. WRs pretty good too.
