Background

I'm new to this photoshop thing. Heck I don't even know if i'm supposed to even be posting a question on this section of the forum, but I was simply curious of how you delete the background from the picture. Like for example:

how would i delete the blurry crowd in the background of the picture without messing up the player's picture?

dude if u want to make it easier,just grab a render or a psd. I get most of my psds from surrealdezignz.com, and psdcentral.net. Or you can just ask someone to make u want.
