PS3 PLayers Help Me!

OK, guys, I finally got online issues fixed for the PS3. Now, my problem is, this, the friends list and way of contacting players online for the PS3 is different than Live. So I need some help.

1.) I know how to add friends for the PS3, but, how do I go about seeing if your online to invite you to a game and, :

2.) How do you invite someone to a game?

3.) How can I message you from inside the game or, do I have to quit the game to go to message you?

I have gotten so use to the easyness of Live! I cannot find my way around the PS3 screens anymore. I have got league games to play with Drk. Knight and others and need some help.

Tracking any of your friends with the PS3 is nearly impossible, with any game, not just NCAA08. So, how do you invite someone to a game? I havent figured that out, do I need to goto the lobby and either let them challenge me or me challenge them?

Yea you need to tell them to meet you in a lobby and then get your gaming on. That's the only way to go

You can't challenge directly from the "friends leaderboard" like on the 360?
