The HB Screen to Brian Westbrook is one of the Eagles most effective plays, but in Madden I always lose a yard or barely make it back to the Goal line.

He doesnt move this well in Madden..

Why does it suck so much in Madden? Anything I can do?

What playbook are you using?

Screens vs zones are money. If you run it against man, you have to catch them in a blitz or have all other receivers on the other side or down the field to have them be effective. Also, don't run it unless you set it up. It's not a play you use all the time.

here is a tip i find effective when running a screen play....run back with your qb for about 10 yards...and when you see that all your blocks are in place, pass it to the running back

by running back, you allow the opponent's linebackers or defensive linemen to follow you..and when you see the blocks are in place pass it to the rb...however, this play is innefective against the zone..but good against the blitz.

In man coverage, the blockers will almost never pick up the guy thats covering the HB. They let him just stand there and look to block guys up the field.

A.Smith,

Thats exactly how I do it. I drift my qb back and away from the side of the screen. This lets my oline get in postion and my hb squared up to catch the pass.
