Well to be honest (and not too cocky and self-absorbed), after looking at some of the Galleries, I am better than most of them. At least from what I looked at. I'll post some of my stuff in a new thread

Yeah I know, I'm just referencing the few Galleries that I looked at. The sigs just seemed to be very plain, bland, and quite boring

Well to be honest... your stuff is very good

but also to be honest.. anybody can read a tut.... and take some c4d's... and make a sig...

Its very unoriginal.. I've seen it 100 times before...

You can go to any graphic tut site and get those anywhere..

Yes.. you are very good.. better then me.. at the 2 or 3 designs that you do... but thats all you seem to do..

Branch out... try creating a sig just by messing around with settings.. Youd be surprised what you'll come up with.

yea man I would need to see more. just the 2 that I've seen dont tell me much of what you can do. like the sig your sporting the Font is too small and you cant see it, Mike is right anyone can take C4ds over an image. its too simple looks like it took you bout 5min to make.
I like the concept of it but needs more work.
5/10

but hey keep up the good work

There's a lot more to it than just "throwing on a c4d"

Maybe you should try using them, it adds a lot of depth and makes the sig look better (if use correctly) all around. And if you want originality, download Chaosscope, and make your own.

And tut's are guidelines, idk anybody (unless just starting) who follows a tut word-for-word. I do know if you look at the sigs on the last few pages in my gallery, you can definitely tell they are word-word tut followed. The one's near the tops involve some techniques that I picked up from tuts, and some fellow sig makers on other forums. I have a lot of those because I personally think they look nice, and it's improving my "skills" on stock sigs. Soon enough, I'll pick up some more techniques and be making 10 or more sigs using the same steps and techniques. That's just how I do things.

sorry... I wasn't trying to be mean.. LOL

I guess I just saw 2 or 3 techniques thats all..

and I have used c4ds... I've used most of the techniques... I'm limited in what I can do cause I only have ps elements... so... It doesn't allow for layer masking which ads alot to a sig.

Oh really? Well, maybe you should download GIMP. It's not as powerful as Photoshop, but it's pretty damn close, and it's free. So, like me, if you're not willing to spend that 1000 dollars on photoshop, I say at least give GIMP a try.

I know.. and I've done that before.. but... if I'm going to make money on sigs.. I'd rather do it legit... ya know what I mean....

As for gimp... I tried it.... I didn't really like it.... just a preference I guess...

I've been using various versions of ps for over 10 years... so.... its hard to change.
