We are a joke. I know I said we'd be around a 7 win team, but it's not going to happen. I have to admit, I was way off. I honestly thought the improvements we made would be enough to at least make us competitive. But they aren't. We are the laughing stock of the NFL, and we deserve it. We are likely to lose every freakin' game this year. I hope Dallas as the salary cap room to sign a #1 overall draft pick next year.

I pay way too much money and put way too much time (3 1/2 hour drive every week, I have season tickets) to watch this team constintely perform like this. We are an absolute joke!

Relax bro. Im telling you, I know exactly how you feel. And my feelings about the Jets are a real mixed bag as I have 1000 questions about them, the dline, oline, QB, etc. and this happens basically every season.

Just step back and realize that One game a season does not make. Its a marathon. As bad as the Browns looked (and the Jets too), 1 game doesnt make a season.

There is still hope.

You're right. It's not over. But, I've lost hope. Every year I keep thinking "It's going to get better". But it never does. This entire organization is a joke. Vince Lombardi himself could not turn this franchise into a winner.

You forgot Phil Savage.

I think if there is one person I'm steamed at right now if I'm a Cleveland Browns Fan, its Phil Savage. Joey J isn't a suitable #2, Charlie Frye isn't working out as their QB, Bentley has yet to see the field, and Mcginist hasn't improved the defense but cost a fortune. And then the worst has yet to come, the Browns can't even look forward to the one thing bad NFL teams can look forward to: The NFL Draft. The Browns traded away last years 2nd rounder (for which they could have gotten a Kolb, Beck, etc.) and very, very, very likely a top 3 overall pick in next years draft. I know we don't know anything about Quinn, but just look at things from an NFL management position: You bartered away a player whose value is #22 for a #35 and a #1-#3. Its going to be pretty tough to sell Brady Quinn as being more valuable then a Kevin Kolb and a Glen Dorsey/McFadden/other uber prospect combined.

Brady Quinn should start week 2.

Everyteam has a bad week. You can't evaluate teams after 1 week. There will be teams that start off strong and fade....just how it goes. Give you team at least half a season to see where they are at and what they can do to get better. It usually takes a while to get everyone on the same page and define roles. You will see like we do every year teams start off slow....some continue down that path because they are not that good and others turn it around and make something of themselves.

The biggest problem on the team seems to be QB/Oline. Bad olines kill teams....and thus Qb's which is why they are being patient and not throwing quinn out there to get pounded. Phil savage also deserves some blame. I think picking up Lewis was an awful choice. I actually like the move they made in the draft to get quinn after getting a LT. We will see how it all plays out.

You played the Steelers who are a solid team. I think the Browns are better than they showed.

It's going to take a few years for the Browns to turn things around, I'm sure you hear it every year but that's how it is.

Agreed. As a long time browns fan. Well im only 16 so since they came back i should say I've said wait until next year. Its been a lot of wait until next years. but I will never find a new team. I'll always stick with the Browns unless they move again.

You have to look at it in a kinda I dont know anything about football kinda thing. The offensive line didnt play that bad. Frye had a lot of time in the pocket he just couldnt find the open man. Now the second half was a far different story. Everything sucked in the second half. defensively they didn't play bad until they gave up that big pass play to Santonio Holmes. The offense turned the ball over twice. Pitt went 22 yards for a TD then went 9 yards but were stopped so they had to kick a field goal. Went up 10-0 real quick then they gave up that big play that i was speaking of. Second half was just horrible though. HORRIBLE.

Romeo is going to have to do something drastic real fast or he can kiss his job goodbye. Cincy next week. Will be another tough opponent but hopefully they can at least stick with them and show some bright spots offensively. Maybe move the ball down the field and score. That would be a nice start. Everyone thinks Quinn is the answer and right now its all up in the air. He just might be but i think Romeo is a little hesitant starting him so early in the season. I bet he seems some playing time in the near future though. They have to start doing something.

So, if you're not HypeBeast, who is? I'm just curious.

1) Relax. Look man. My Falcons just got the ***** kicked out of them and as much as I want to write 'em off, make a "1ST OVERALL DRAFT PICK HERE WE COME" thread and all that, I know it was just one Week. One Week doesn't tell the story about a team.

2) Last year (again with ATL) my Falcons looked great at first, then fell apart at the end (mostly due to injuries). So what if you guys even come up struggling? So you drop your first few, adjustments are made, and boom .. that's the way the NFL works

3) Hypebeast is BIGDAWG since the freakin' MOD (BearsHomer!!!!!!) can't even get it right. Hypebeast IS NOT TOPDAWG.

4) In all honesty I understand the theory of not throwing Quinn to the wolves and letting Frye go out there and get killed, but I think from here on out you let your 1st round pick do his thing and learn on the go.

5) You played the Steelers, who are a solid team. An @ss whoopin was in order regardless. Especially with proven garbage at QB like Frye :(

O.K now I have time.......

First off lets start with Quinn. No matter what anyone says I believe he should be starting right now!!! This offense needs a "Face". The face of every offense is the QB. Right now the Browns have not had a face to the offense since we have been back in the league!! Did you see Frye???? How about Anderson???? I tell you what- Quinn can't do any worse??? Hell, throw him to the wolves, and let's see what he has. This offense needs a leader, so let Quinn become that leader.

As for the defense, we're young. It's going to come just give it time. Were not going to be a winning team this year with the schedule we have!!!! Like I said 4-12. How cares if all the Dallas fans are saying there getting the #1 pick. We got our first rounded this year. Thats all that matters. Yes, Quinn will be a very good QB in this league. It's just going to take a little time.

We played the Steelers anyways. Yea being a Browns fan we hate the Steelers. We however need to realistic as well. Did you realy think we were going to beat them?? If you did then I think your a fool.

Who is really boils down to is RAC. RAC needs to fire this team up. Well, actually he needs to get fired up himself. He has no intensity at all!!! This team needs that because they're young. They need to be molded it to that winning team. RAC is just not that guys. We need a no nonsense coach who is not going to tolerate the shyte we had on the field yesterday!!

I understand your frustration. I have been a Browns fan since 1978. I have seen better days and I have seen worse. It will getbetter. It's just going to take time. keep your head up. With all the young talent on this team we could be the witness to something great who knows.
