Alright let me start this off by saying he isnt a top 5 Tight End like some of the ignorant Browns fans say on here (and some who arent Browns fans). But I think we can all agree that he has matured. he went from the "im a soldier" thing, to the accident/knee injury, and now he took porters smack talkin and proved to be the better man. He didnt say a word and i think everyone should respect him for that. They got a W and I'm pretty sure it can be agreed apon that Kellen was blocking like a tight end. He can block i dont know what Porter was thinking when he said that. Does he line up as a slot and sometimes even a wide reciever? yes he does. Does he make grabs that some WR's couldnt make? yes he does, but what people dont see is that he blocks and does all the other things tight ends are supposed to do.

He was young and dumb when he first came into the league but he has matured and i respect him for that. I hope soon he can step into a top 5 tight end in the league. But for now he is not.

Exactly, he made a complete fool of himself when he first came into the league. and that will never be completely gone. Whenever someone sees or hears kellen winslow they will always think that about him. He has matured however and im glad cause he was making himself and the Browns organization look even worse than they already are. haha they are looking better though. Notice i said better im not on here like others saying there gonna make the playoffs and what not.

K2 is coming along very nice and when hes contract is up and he leaves the browns thats when he will be considered a top 5 TE when he goes to another team. that when people will see how good he is, the browns dont get to much TV time so nobody watches them unless you are a browns fan or have a browns player on your fantasy team.

Cleveland will be this years surprise team but I dont think K2 will be around when hes able to leave IMO.

It was supposed to be a joke. But Scaife's underrated. It the right offense, I think he could be a monster. Jeff Fisher doesn't really look to the tight ends that much. Ever since Wycheck left, the TE spot has kind of vanished in Tennessee...

In my opinion, he hasn't been consistant enough, long enough. I mean, two years ago he was recovering from off-field related accidents (i.e., running your motorcycle into the ground). He has only shown signs off his former self at Miami, the last year and a half. I don't want to get into his blocking, or lack there of.

Also, when there are names like Gates, Gonzalez, Heap, Shockey, your boy Crumpler, Witten, Cooley and Clark (just of the top of my head), it's tough to place 'Junior' in the top 5...right now.

Who knows, a couple more years of this and he'll be mentioed right there at the top, I mean it's in his blood (Kellen Winslow, Charger great), so as long as he stays clean off the field, his play should take care of itself.
