Anybody else tired of seeing both your guard and center run right past a DT, neither one even noticing him as he pancakes your RB for a 2-yard loss? Me too.
I want to be able to give custom blocking assignments for each lineman/TE/RB. That way guys that should easily be picked up won't go unnoticed as they often do now. I've tinkered with slide protection and whatnot, but from what I've seen, it doesn't do much in terms of which defender each blocker targets.
Basically, when I'm running my offense, there's a specific way I want each play to develop. Blockers rarely do what I actually want them to do, and as such, plays rarely turn out anywhere close to what they should be.
Coaches, Quarterbacks, and Centers in the real NFL give blocking assignments all the time....I want that same opportunity.
