I'm trying to run a compression, and it's hard to find quality backs that can catch out of the backfield. Teams like the Cowboys and Jags are great for the compression, but Barber and Fragile fred seem to drop a lot of balls. I think they have around 68 CTH which isn't bad, but I view 70+ CTH for backs is ideal for the compression. Should I just move on and try to find RB's with my criteria or is there some trick to throwing that flat route?

I don't think there's much of a trick to it really if the back isn't covered you don't need to bullet it just lob it over to him. otherwise throw the ball how you feel would be best.

I also love when you try to use Maurice Jones-Drew as a pass catching RB and the ball always goes over his head.

I would Say Brian Westbrook is your man.
