Ncaa 2005

About an hour ago I went to WaldenBooks with my wife and decided to browse the magazine section to see if I could get more info on NCAA 2005. So I looked at the gaming magazine and stumbled across PSM monthly, and as I was looking at the preview for NCAA 2005, they had said that on defense you can audible a defensive player to blitz or drop into coverage or double cover a receiver. Now I had read a month ago you can do this in the new Madden, and according to PSM we will be able to do this in NCAA 2005, which I am hoping is true.

That sounds pretty good. I'll be looking out for that once the game gets here. I've also heard that you'll be able to flip direction of running plays without changing the formation. Sounds like some of Madden's Playmaker features have made it into the game.

I hope it will let us audible our LBs or Safties to spy the QB. That would help sooo much against the Marcus Vicks and Vince Youngs out there.

One thing I'd like to do and it sounds like we'll now be able to do this is to use press coverage with my corners, but play normal with my safeties as I use a BUNCH of man, two-deep coverage. I don't want my safeties that close to the line on suspected passing downs.

Hot dayummmm!!! I was just thinking the same thing. Or for those guys who always like to use the WR screen from the 5 wide, I could put the DB on that side to play a flat zone and maybe he'll knock the pass down or pick it and take it to the house for 6. :D

I'm really getting more and more excited about this game.

Yes I got my subscription issue last week and they gave it either a gold or platinum game of the month rating.

it got a 9.0, 9.5, 9.0

for the record, as good as ncaa and madden are, niether series has ever gotten perfect 10's in their entire history (as far as EGM goes)

it did beat out mega man anniversary collection, driver 3, and the chronicles of riddick i think
