Is this your own thoughts or did you get it from somewhere else?

I saw this somewhere else too and the list was identical, so I believe that it is the real thing.

NCAAA 2005 will have the "Toughest 25 stadiums" to play in.. they (we) are debating if this list is "THE LIST"

That list is correct, my PS2 magazine has the stadiums ranked in that exact order. I think you could argue some of the rankings of stadiums.

Didn't understand there was a list or how and whom may have come up with this list. All I saw was a topic and list with no explanation. Thanks equalizer for the clarification. So if you are the home team with one of these stadiums you will have an overwhelming advantage? I have read about the matchup button and stuff and how the momentum can change the game quickly is this just another part to work against the visiting team?

Exactly.
I can see it now.
Everyone will want to be the home team.
When you challenge someone, they will quickly decline. And here's the kicker........... the same person that just declined your challenge will quickly turn around and challenge you so that now he's the home team. LMAO
But EA has stated that if you are the visiting team and manage to beat some one playing as the home team ( Assuming their home stadium is one of the 25 toughest places to play ) you'll take away more of that persons rank points.
But no matter what I'm still going to use my USC Trojans for 97% of my online games.
And my dynasty challenge is to make my UHM Outlaws " Hide Out Stadium " one of the 25 toughest stadiums to play in, year in and year out.
Although I am somewhat disappointed that the Trojans Collesium is not on the list.

They should make it based on how good your home record is along with strength of home schedule so if you were say a crappy Mid American Conference team and you beat Michigan, Ohio State Texas and Oklahoma at home you should have a killer home field advantage compared to beating teams like Temple, Princeton, Wyoming and Northwestern

There has to be some way to move your stadium up in ranking....I would bet it has to be your ranking in the game. Otherwise...how would a created team ever get it's stadium ranked??

I think you will be able to move your stadium up the rankings during your dynasty.

sorry guys, guess i should've clarified things. that's the top 25 toughest stadiums to play in (supposedly) in 05
When you challenge someone, they will quickly decline. And here's the kicker........... the same person that just declined your challenge will quickly turn around and challenge you so that now he's the home team. LMAO maybe true, but EA has implemented a system where if you beat a higher ranked opponent on his home field, the win is worth more. read the interview i posted on more info on that
[qoute]I think you will be able to move your stadium up the rankings during your dynasty.[/quote] yes you will!
also, for online play, they will even out the stats this year for lower ranked teams say Miami VS Georgia State, they will even the playing field so that Miami isn't so dominate. i guess that's to make things fair

djwill,
I've read the interview, and was very intrigued by the visiting team getting more rank points for a victory if they win on the road. But that still won't stop people from wanting to be the home team each and every game. Heck this year I was glad to play games on the road, sometimes my luck at home stank something awful. I was just saying that I can already see people declining challenges and then turning right around and challenging the person they just declined.
The thing everyone wants to know is if the even playing field mode will be ranked or not.

Farmer,
no doubt man, i feel what your saying. but from what i've read and understand, you will get better stats for beating that person at home. i here they are still trying to work on a random thing also, but the possibilities of that are slim.
i think i also remember hearing that in ranked games the higher seed will be the home team. that might have been in the interview, but i just woke up and don't feel like reading all that right now lol

I'm waiting to see how many BANDWAGON fans jump on my LSU Tigers this season. I played online a few times last year and NO ONE used LSU it seemed besides me. It was all Mia, Tex, and OSU. Death Valley is always in the top 5-10 of toughest places to play. I ran track for LSU for 4 seasons and ran with Devery Henderson and Bennie Brazile (don't know why Skylar didn't come out on track team...he ran track in HS). Can't wait to see what they rank our #1 SCORING DEFENSE in 2005 (as Bob Stoops so adequately stressed right before the INT return for a TD in the Sugar Bowl... LMAO at that!!)
Personally, I'd LOVE to whip someone as the visiting team. I like being the visitor more anyway. Great winning as the underdog. Did it clarify whether your AUDIBLE or your HOTROUTE will be affected by the stadium noise? The funny thing is every time I think about how they are gonna implement this, I get flashbacks to us (LSU) beating Florida in 1997 when they were ranked #1 and how LOUD the staduim was and how we were shaking the whole damn thing. We NEVER sat down that game. Thier QB (Doug Johnson I believe) couldn't hear a damn thing and the offense had trouble hearing the snap count. They had to a silent snap out of SG.

LMAO...I feel you on that. I let my cousin hold my NCAA 2004 and haven't played it since about the end of January and I just STARTED playing Madden 2004 again 3 weeks ago. UGA gave us a good game at home (until Skylar broke free on the go route) and we blaste them in the SEC CHAMP GAME. But I'm down. I'll probably be using the name Traydmarc7 online.

i'll either be jyx1313 or tbmaddenman13
we couldn't do anything on offense even with shockley in there. ya'lls d was just too nasty last year. it's a shame ya'll are being disrespected in the preseason polls
i love the competition in the sec better than any other confrence
i'll be looking forward to it, where do you wanna play at is the question? don't we play ya'll at our house this year? i haven't looked at the schedules in a while
wanna know something funny, here i am talkin about UGA and my son is wearing tiger shirt. not an lsu tiger shirt, but a tiger shirt with just the tiger's eyes and nose on it. talk about irony lmfao

You have a SMART kid! LOL
We play AT UGA on 10/02/04. I think the rating drops is b/c of who we lost on defense. We'll have some guys step up, we usually do. On offense, we got Vincent back and Marcus Randall ran our offense while Mauck was out with a broken foot (although most people tend to forget that). Should be an interesting season. I think we'll go something like 9-2, 8-3 at WORST. Only tough games I see are Auburn, Georgia, and Flordia. We ALWAYS have trouble with UF for some reason. Funniest thing is we go t-shirts from last season with game-by-game scores but the LSU vs UF games says in big letters WHO CARES???!!! LMAO. We got Troy State for our homecoming game this year. Last season it was Western Ill. I scored 104 points on them in my dynastly, athough it feels like FOREVER since I've turned NCAA 2005 on. I may need a refresher. I'm a "so-so" player in NCAA. I play Madden MUCH better.

i like NCAA a lil more than i do madden b/c of the atmosphere and all the teams and the dynasty and recruiting. i just like to play man
no doubt, we'll hold off on playin for a lil bit so we BOTH can get reaccuanted lol. besides, how could i turn down a game against you guys??? lol

Hopefully for my sake it will be the same Marcus Randall from two years ago. I think he completed more passes to Auburn's DB's in that game than his own team.
