I run a a lot of Choice,Crossing routes, Mesh Routes, Pick routes and against man up d I love to run the ball. Man up against spread means they only have 5 in the box or their blitzing against the former it almost screams at me to run aganst the later I go to hot throws off Mesh and Picks.
I'm looking for ways to attack man coverage. I understand the basic principles of isolating players and throwing to the best matchup. Ex. 3x1 sets plays like choice or variations. Another concept I've been trying is having a formation with three recievers right no one on the left side and motioning a rb out of the back to single reciever side. This helps determine man or zone and if a lb/saftey walks over I usually like that matchup I'm looking for some techniques/concepts. I'm looking for plays with natural rubs so I don't have to rely on matchups as much. I like to run mesh, switch concepts, and using bunch formations. Do you have any rub concepts or man beating concepts that could help. Thanks for the help
I like 3-3-5, gives you a 5 man front with the flexibility to blitz or play coverage, I just haven't gotten the 4-3 to work for me and I get scorched by the pass when I use 4-2-5
So you want those explosive plays on o as well as d huh?Lol.What kind of d do u like in ncaa 11?I like the normal 4-3 but i blitz a good amount out of it.I was toying with the 4-2-5 but the man plays can get screwy when theres motion.
Would you beleive if I had my choice it would be a 5 or 10 man front, with a ss deep or medium or no safety all depending on situation.. I'm a big fan of what Bill Arnsparger called the Two Level model of defense and very intrigued by a 10-1, 8-2 like GA Moore, John Reed and Trevor Rees ran. I like a lot of pressure but pressure geared to snap the run game, my offensive style is very spread agressive, I like a fast fast tempo so I want my opponents off the field asap, perferabbly without points but if we give up a few here and there thats ok
What do u prefer?3 man or 4 man front as your base d?Bend but dont break or an aggressive style?
No, more of an offensive guru, however I definately have some ideas about the type of defense I want to run, if you could implement it in a videogame.
Do u draw up defensive plays to?
I just want to blanking vent.... since the Ipod App version of Madden allows you to draw your own pass routes... why can't we do it NCAA nearly 10 years after they took the play editor out....???
thanks Chomper!!
