When we gonna play on PS3 dude?
  3. I wouldn't mind doing a post about that, but my experience is limited on running my offense from shotgun. It's a whole different timing and I mostly use it for my rolling out routes. I prefer under center as it gives me reads in relation to my drops.

Do you want to post on some of your experiences with Shotgun compared to under center in the Run and Shoot in the Run and Shoot thread? I see your message below and not only would it be good to elaborate but it would be nice to have that whole Under center vs Defense vs Shotgun battle diagramed for people to see.
  5. Knowing that human opponents try to force you into shotgun can work against them too. Most try to scare you into shotgun by sending pressure. Formation and motion helps to show which reads will be open quickly. Sticking draws at them too will keep them honest. I want to get into this more with you. I have some "keep the defense honest" plays too. One of them is Short Ins and Outs out of singl spread flex. That play is just one hot route and motion away from the "Houston" concept.

Most if not all the Routes should work no matter what but their are some things that opponents can do to take them away that are unrealisitic. Such as overloading the Trips side with 5 to 6 defenders to defend the Go and Slide Routes, but then you can go to the Choice route away from Trips and burn them with that, then the need to manually fly under the single reciever and if they do that I start running or I run Choice Even. So their is some series to the plays but remember for the most part just hit uncovered slot recievers, run against 5 in the box (if you find it better to do that) and then what they can do to defend your plays is limited and the counters to it are extremely obvious. PinchofDip also likes the Detroit playbook, I'll have to take a look at it. I definately like under center alot more so I use that against the computer but good human opponents can make you go to shotgun with nanos so I use the NE playbook online.
  7. I'm still around. Since our last chat, I have switched back to Detroit's playbook which I had got comfy with before converting to run and shoot. I find it has more of the spread 4 wide under center sets. Pats have all the spread sets, but their 4 wide under center isn't as great as I would like it. Det's also has the Power -O and tosses, as well as screens too. About Run and Shoot play calling, do you just randomly call plays, or do I need to read concepts more to understand which is best in which situation?

if your on ps3 i can lab with you tell me what your doing use the d pad and hold down right for your right reciver, (low outside) bullet he has to be at least 10 yards away. a good time to rc is if you beat the bump, then when the ball coming hold the oppisite way you threw it on the d pad downleft, youll see him stick to the spot. msg me if this donot help
