Reid should get a ring. It'd be crazy if Vick were his QB when it happened, but I'm not sure MV7 will even stick around after this season.

I just get a kick out of the people I knew back in the Philly area when I lived down there who used to say they'd rather have Vick than #5. Bunch of bums are living their football wet dream right now, and even watching a tame MV7 at that. Back in the day we saw the wreckless version in ATL, when dude would be taking off every other play (which had the morons coining him as unable to read a D, while in reality the guy had visibly lost all confidence in his WRs, Coaching staff, and was in full "attempt to take over the game" mode) trying to out-athlete his way to a W.

I think there's still hope for McRehab. He's definitely not finished yet, as long as he can continue to extend a play and find an improvising WR open downfield. Plus Shanahan has had a HISTORY of adapting to his QBs. Rumor is he already cut the playbook in half for McRehab. I actually expect them to maybe build on that. I just don't see how any playcalling or coaching will ever change his inability to throw a 7 yard pass with the game on the line.

As for Vick, it's almost impossible not to cheer for the guy when he's basically carrying your team and vividly giving 110% on each and every play. While most were aiming directly at his passing game as the biggest thing to criticize back in Atlanta, I've always seen otherwise. Like the fact that most QBs need 1-2 extra steps into their pass to throw the type of frozen rope that he does almost routinely, with just a flick of his wrist. The less time the ball is in the air, the less time a DB has a chance to make a play on it.

And to add to the Mike Vick thread, without hijacking it, McRehab has definitely struggled outside of Andy Reid's system.

Reid has always ran a great balance of screens and plays that allow for multiple easy pass options underneath (Patriots-esque). The type of plays that greatly inflate QBs numbers. They're also plays that nearly all QBs can connect on (which was why McRehab's inability to do so was mindblowing) and with the right playmakers (McCoy, Westbrook) the entire Offense will benefit.

I'm not about to sit here and go on some Gtrght-esque ****, and tell you that Michael Vick is hands down a 105 QB Rating passer (LOL @ that) but I do think that Andy Reid may be an Offensive passing genius on par with Bill Walsh.

However I'll definitely tell you that coached-up Michael Vick is twice the passer in terms of accuracy/arm than McRehab (which you may even of noticed)
