I agree. It must suck free falling as much as he did but its a great situation especially since they have a unproven starter.
I checked the Colts pb an it was solid especially with the east-west run game but i prefer Arizona's.Its a pass heavy pb but i dig the run game an they got some nice screens to.
Irish what do u think of Clausen's chances of starting and do u think he can succeed?
Im gonna try out the Colts o pb after i saw ur post about its run game. The last few months i been usin the washington pb exclusively but im lookin for a change up lol.
Gamefaqs has a pb faq i think.I hate the way 2k5 makes u pick a set of pbs.Every football games pb system should be like 2k8 where they jus give u mad plays an let u decide what u want.
I think the d is harder cause the players have more realistic momentum. If u control a LB in madden jus move side to side a few times an you'll notice their feet slides across the grass every other step. With 2k the defenders need to actually turn their hips when they change direction. So if u bite on a pa to hard or botch jumpin a route ur really screwed. As it should be lol.
I love the realistic qb drops.Madden def should put that in 11.The way it is now u can throw anytime during the drop.
I also like the way u can pick specific line stunts for d.Makes it alot easier to get 4 man pressure.
You're fine, I love your thread, brings back a lot of old memories running that offense when I coached HS ball in kentucky. I still use a lot of principles of the shoot today. If you look at most offenses on all levels, they are running some form of the run and shoot concepts:
hook, or smash if you will
verticals
Go package, with flood, geogia
even the bubble screen, we used a slant with it and called it "slide"
can go on and on.
Yeah I run Georgia with the back in to protect. Something tells me it's not explained right in the thread though....But how you described is how I run it, just messed it up in the thread, I'll go edit that.
