Need some tips on pass rush.

Particularly when using anything more than Nickel (Dime/quarter).

I use the patriots 3-4 book, and I can't seem to figure out how to get any kind of decent heat using dime/quarter defenses, especially if they are in Shotgun.

Not asking for nano's, just some plays or gaps I should be trying to attack, and I can lab it myself.

I'm also having a ridiculous time stopping 5WR. Any help on what to do in against this would be much appreciated.

From the Quarter Normal - pinch and crash the DL, blitz the MLB and SS, and Fake Blitz.

    Thumbs up Quarter's Normal-Under Smoke

The Quarter's Normal-Under Smoke get's mad heat on the QB

    1: Pinch and Crash DL

2: Move MLB into the left A Gap(facing the screen) and a couple steps off the LOS,so hes not leaning into any of the DL

    3:CAll BNR Coverage

4: (Optional) you can put the inside blitzing corners into yellow or purple zones. If your facing a guy who likes to scramble, then put each inside blitzing CB into a QB Contain and man up the safetys on the open WR'S or RB'S

    HAPPY SACKING

how long does it take you to do this? against the guys I play, I rarely have enough time to make 2-3 manual adjustments. All i got time for is a few general d-line or LB or secondary adjustments. that's about it.
do you ever get caught in the middle of making all your adjustments?

Hold down the switch button and scroll through. You should be able to make at least 5 changes before the offense snaps with a little practice.
From the dime and quarter, you can get the LB to blitz by hitting the R trigger and down on the R stick. You can zone him just the same.

ahh, that's right, on Dime, there's only 1 LB, so you can use the general adjustment.. the R stick you mention. right. I guess I need to get faster. I'm talkin' 'bout practice!!

Once you set up your blitzes, be sure to utilize the pass (and run) playmaker to maximize them.
They only work like they're designed against passes when you pass playmake. The quicker you playmake, the better.
