    Playbook help

Well...UCLA's playbook which I used last year has been totally redone and not to my liking.

Until VG releases it's Virtual Playbook for 2005, I"m up a creek.

    I really would like:
    1. Ace Bunch
    2. Ace Normal
    3. Ace Y-Trips
    4. Ace Big Twins (renamed from Y Twins)
    5. I Form Tight
    6. I Form Twins
    7. Pro Form Slot
    8. Shotgun Normal
    9. Shotgun Y-Trips

Anyone know of a playbook which contains these formations?

    I would apprecaite it. Thx

That would be a nice playbook to have. It looks fairly balanced. The virtual playbook will be released in about two weeks.

But you can't use a created PB online, right?

Good feature for the Dynasty freaks but onliners still have to suffer

The dynasty freaks comment is a little harsh. Everyone doesn't play online and the majority would probably prefer to play offline than on. If EA ever implemented online leagues and such, I'd be more interested in online play.

    No offense intended.
If the CPU didn't bore me I would love to play dynasty because online gets lame.

I didn't mean dynasty freaks in a bad way, honest.

No problem. I understand where you're coming from. Different players enjoy different things about the game. I focus a large part of my time in practice mode.

Bomber...I'm glad you bring that up. Do you use any special methods in the lab? I've spent an aweful lot of time in there myself, but I run into the problem of plays looking like money in the lab, but translating into crap online.

No custom playbooks online, and as for playbooks, I dont have one yet, my FSU Fast Break is gone because of all the flare passes and swing passes have been taken out of the game.
I'm gonna have to wait for virtual playbook also before I see what kind of offense scheme I will run this year.

When I go into practice mode I'll run a play over and over and over again until I know exactly how I'll attack a specific defense with that play. For example I'll rep a pass play and if the defense goes cover 2 I'll throw here. If the defense goes man free I'll go here and if the defense goes cover 3 I'll go here. If they blitz I'll go to my checkdown. I do this so that my reads become second nature. Doing this will help me be prepared for nearly anything the defense throws at me. I'll spend quite a bit of time doing this with a single play that I plan on using in a given down and distance situation. I'll also do this with my running game.
