    Something for the 2006 wishlist

I appreciate the time spent on presentation. I really do. It's neat to see camera cuts and updates like in a football telecast. But make them optional. Let me turn off fan celebrations. Let me turn off the scoreboard in the top left of the screen. Let me turn off the "Pontiac Drive Summary". Let me turn off the waiting for players to get up so I can watch a linebacker clap his hands.

I'm not asking to change anything, just put in a toggle. I just want to play football.

I agree with that also. I understand the reasoning behind those things being there, but I'm primarily interested in playing the game.

There is no way your ever going to be able to turn off something like the Pontiac Drive summary.
Pontiac must have paid a nice chunk of change to be in the game and they aren't going to let you just click them off- that's why hitting x just won't work, they paid and now your going to watch.
I've also seen 2 (so far) pennants with Pontiac cars on them- one is the new 350hp GTO.

when the potiac thing comes up just hit triangle or any other audible button, that will bring it down

there are vast ways they could improve this game though. like i mentioned before, i'd rather them leave out the college classics and the mascot games and work more on presentation, gameplay, and sound.

saving in the middle of the game would be nice, but we won't see that till the next generation consoles

all 5 star recruites should sign..........somewhere. i could understand a few, but the last time i recruited like 15 didn't sign. that's just asanine

HFA, if there going to keep it in next years version, fix it. if the crowd isn't cheering loud, i should be able to call an audible. i dion't know how many times i've tried to audible when the bar was 1/4 to halfway full and no one could hear me.

catching, i swear i don't even know where to begin on this. i don't know how many times i've thrown the ball to a wide open WR to have him drop the ball. and telll me why is it that i can complete more passes to a streaking WR than i can to my back outta the backfield? change the percentages

academics, i like what they did this year, but playing against another teams backups insn't fun at all. good players should know better, bad ones shouldn't point blank. there could be a few exceptions, but come on. also, could you please make a screen where i could see the players for the oposing team that are academically inelligible for the game like an injury list? i hate going all the way to rosters, go to academics, scroll to find the team.

i'll have more later, sorry for the long post

    Zonk,

I understand how advertising works: that General Motors paid lots of money to get their car in the game. However, I think it's a disturbing trend in video games. I pay fifty bucks for the game, I don't want to have to watch advertisements!

Perhaps more specifically, I'm upset that you can't have the players' names -- because they're "amateurs" -- but I have to watch ads. At least the NCAA is consistent, though.

The colleg classics are a good setup, but why not let you play the whole game instead of a couple plays. Like the miracle at Michigan, you have to wait for your computer to load and unload for one play. I would rather have a play editor than Mascot games or COLLEGE CLASSICS.

I agree with DJ on the feature of saving in the middle of the game. If something comes up and I have to go somewhere, a player is forced to either leave the game paused or restart all together. They do have that feature in Madden.

Fix the statue-imitating Refs. I remember many a time, since 2003, an open receiver would miss the ball because he ran into the ref. Make them fall over like the guys on the sideline or make them move.

they could probably make low composure players have a better chance of commiting an infraction than high composure players.

transfers, why is it that i can't have transfers from other schools, but my players leave?? that seems a lil unfair IMO. it seems like EA purposely leaves things out so that the can add them in next year as a "new edition". i'm kinda gettin tired of it though.

    Angry Pleeeeaaasssseeee

Blocking... Fb blocking. How many times must I c the fb or whoever pass a man, and go down to block someone unimportant. HFA hate it. I normally don't bother with it when I am at home. Unless I have a guy constantly going for it on 4th down.....

The running bring it back to the level of 04.... The defense can react so much quicker to a ply.... The running on this game SUCKS!!!!

When someone throws a pass and u r in zone. DON'T let the safety stand there. He should b converging on the ply. What is that about????

Make the option more realistic. Stop the 15 yd perfect pitches...DAMN!!!!

Offensive blocking- Stop with the suck in blocking.. How many times do I get around the corner of the offense, only to get sucked in... WTF!!!!!
