    Ben Roethlisberger

Love this guys toughness, but has he ever heard of getting rid of the dayum ball. No wonder he gets hit all the time. He is not a smart QB. IMO, he is most to blame in what appears to be a Steeler loss. We are sitting here all game yelling GET RID OF THE BALL!!!. One play he had 6 seconds to throw and took a sack. One of the many drives killed by 2nd/3rd and long situations.

Pittsburgh also has a very nice no-huddle offense. Why dont they use it more often? Makes no sense for them to only have 14 points here.

Looks like they will get the ball back with just under 2 minutes left. Lets see Big Ben play smart
I knew Pacquio was getting knocked out when they showed Romney in his dressing room wishing him luck.

I blame coaching 2nd most. too f'n conservative. Crowd has been quiet all game watchin this conservative offense that we all know can be a lot better.

I swear it looked like they were going for a deep play ever time. With the exception of the first play they never once went over the immediate middle where the blitzes were coming from.

It looks that way because Big Bench is holding the ball forever. The times he threw short, they were horrible throws. Steelers played so horrible this game. Giants won this on heart and steeler ineptness.

I think he is technically the 5th highest rated passer of all-time. But, I dont think anyone objectively puts him there. I dont see him going to his 3rd, 4th read on pass plays. He is still (like he admitted in the past) looking and waiting for his primary to get open. The one pretty play he had was a 2nd read deep down the sidelines for a TD. unfortunately, it was called back.

Him and Tony Romo are the same player but Roethlisberger's oline is far worse.

They don't know when to take their losses and move on.

As far as him not being smart, I agree and disagree. As I told AD, its amazing with Ben. He just threw 32 TD passes and he still has a lot to learn about the game. He gets by a lot on his talent.

...Seems like he's coming to the realization that he isn't an NFL QB.

    Most definitely, he is.

If you take his talent into consideration plus his resume, he most definitely is a top 5 QB.

I think Ben makes his line look worse than what they are. AND for the same reason, he makes big plays at times. He is holding the ball and gets hit OFTEN and makes a big play every so often. He COULD NOT play for Parcels like that (holding the ball).

I know I will get blasted for this statement, but I think right now, Matt Ryan can read defenses better than Ben. I see Matt getting to his 3rd, 4th and 5th read. I don't see Ben doing that. I see Ben running around until the Defense breaks down.

Ben does hold onto the ball too long, but his OL is poor too and you can't really get into a rhythm when you're running for your life. On 3rd down, Kiwanuka came in unblocked, I don't think anyone even batted an eye towards him. Also, it seems like they run a lot of longer routes which are useless when your line sucks. Not sure why they don't throw over the middle more with Ward and Miller. Also, it sucks when you don't have a longsnapper and your punter can't walk.

I wish Ben would throw to Heath Miller more often. I was watching the game, and once he caught his first pass, I said he'd never get one thrown in his direction the rest of the game. It seems like they get away from using him after the first quarter. I don't see what's the point of having a great pass catching TE if he's never used.

I agree with the statement of Matt Ryan reading defense better than Ben.

Ben can afford to be running up and down because he got a bigger body than Matt Ryan does. I don't think Ryan can take the hits Ben takes.
