Help against Mike Williams

I just played this guy. He had to have HFA so he quit at the matchup screen and we ended up back in the matchup screen with him being home. That aside. I could not stop Mike Williams on the post route. Tried cover 3. Tried cover 2 man. Tried manually covering it and he'd hit the crossing route underneath coverage. Any ideas? I usually handle other drop and bombers easily, but I couldn't stop this guy.

Offhand I would say defend Williams by getting to the quarterback. I played a guy yesterday where I was USC, he was Oklahoma (at home), and he was blitzing hard while pulling his safeties back and manually shading to Williams' side. I think Williams had 8 catches for 92 yards and a touchdown, but that counts as being more or less contained. I certainly didn't have time to go bombing down the field, even if that was my game (which it's not).

U have to hit these receivers. Even if it cost u 15 for it.. I have never had a real problem with Mike running loose. He is now 90 spd, he's mate with the 97 spd is the real problem.... Hit em... Hit him often and hard. Run into him even if he doesn't have the ball.... LOL.... Get into his mine...
