summerslam off to a terrible start....

6 man tag wasting half the companies top stars in a match with 0 on the line and was nothing you couldnt see on raw any random monday. They didnt even let the match go on much. Morrison and kingston two of the most exciting high flyers spend most of the match doing jack while they let rey mysterio does his stupid fake superhero moves reducing r truth to jobber status.

why must we see mysterio be the #1 contender and beat legit guys who not only put on more of a show but can carry a charecter? awful. We couldnt have a del rio v. morrison match? or start a miz/morrison fued(former teammates, miz went on to fame while morrison held back). no instead we get mysterio going superman on 3 of the biggest stars in the WWE.

miz really "stole the show" on summerslam. lol... intereupted by r truth and then worked like a jobber in the ring.

    on the plus side...

CLASSIC promo with punk there and stephanie. high comedy.

looking forward to sheamus/henry as well.

you can measure a WWE PPV by how many "holy shlt" moments there are. be it a sick move, high flying stunt, or crazy plot twist.

right now, we are at 0. which is a shame, considering the talent that has been in the ring thus far.

edit: that henry slam through the wall outside the ring qualifies

Not a bad event. I kind of want to see what role Nash plays now. I mean, did Del Rio pay for him to do this, or did HHH get him to screw Punk over and HHH saw Cena's leg on the rope only to claim "my bad" to allow ADR to cash in. I think it is going to be interesting tonight.

And honestly, I see nothing wrong with the count out. You can't have Henry lose clean now, after basically taking out Big Show and Kane and I bet those two will be the main guys who end Henry's reign of terror, and Sheamus is basically being now being pushed as a face, and having him go down might kill his new found momentum. I see these guys going at it for a while longer, and maybe Barrett going after Orton now for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Only result I honestly hated last night was Kelly over Beth. I admit, the Diva's division isn't the same when they had Trish, Lita, Molly and some of the decent woman wrestlers 5-10 years ago, but if they are going to force this division onto shows, I would rather see Beth, Nattie, the recently quit Gail Kim and girls who can actually do it in the ring and see Kelly Kelly, the Bellas and the ones who are more eye candy be more like managers like Sherri and Elizabeth were back in the day.

its going to be cena and punk vs. HHH on raw. cena because HHH missed the foot on the ropes and punk because HHH couldnt put his ego aside and brought in one of his friends to steal the show

I agree with you on Henry/Sheamus. Its too early to beat Henry right now. The finish didn't kill Sheamus either, it made me want to see another match which is what it was supposed to do. Overall it was actually a pretty good match. Much better than your usual Henry match.

Another match that was better then expected was Kelly/Beth. It wasn't outstanding or anything but it was above modern WWE women's standards. Kelly Kelly must have finally went to wrestling school lol. She looked like she knew what she was doing out there. Beth is one of the few Divas that is always good. If Kelly can continue to work like that I wouldn't mind her title reign lasting a little longer.

Orton/Christian was awesome. Just when I think I'm getting tired of them wrestling at every PPV They have another great match. Daniel Bryan/Wade Barret was great. As far as work rate goes it was probably the best match on the show but the crowd being dead during it kinda hurt it. Cena/Punk was good. It didn't that great crowd heat that they had at the last PPV. Ending didn't surprise me. They weren't going have Cena beat clean twice in a row and this way Punk doesn't loose his momentum.

Mania season is starting up. The Rumble was pretty underwelming. Especially since winning it doesn't mean much anymore. The Elimination Chamber has pretty much killed the Rumble stip of the winner headlining Mania. Plus, this year the main event was already made a year ago; Rock and Cena. The rest of the card so far looks like Taker/Trips III, Jericho/Punk and maybe Orton/Daniel Bryan. Side note, I'm so happy for Daniel Bryan. Dude has been the best technical wrestler of the last ten years almost, but hardly anyone ever got to see him. Now he is getting a world title run in the "big" company.

Seeing DX was like seeing your favorite band 15 years past their prime with beer guts. Was good to see the Outlawz and X-Pac though.
