Motion FB to the left or right?

Weak Tight Twins - HB Counter

This is the the play I will usually call out of the huddle. I like to use it against zone but I will run it against man every now and then.

    Man Setup:

I will only run this against man if there is nobody outside of my TE. I slide UP if someone is over the pulling guard and DOWN otherwise.

    Zone Setup:

The sliding protection rules are the same as above but I will flip the run (not the entire play) and motion the FB to the other side.
motion FB to the left or right of the screen?

Bigface, good call on the counter, especially after running stretch and establishing it.

So I can help you better, please tell me what is happening in the the play that prevents it from working? The thing about the play is that you have to make two reads at the same time (A and X). You kinda have to train your eyes to do this.

Michura man I am loving these write ups I have been using Run Balanced PB for since 10 came out because I wanted to try something generic. I just got one question when you run several schemes like you wrote up what plays do you normally want to set as Audibles?

Thanks and great job keep it up.

My audibles aren't set yet just because the accel clock makes audibles alot less effective. I rely more on quick audibles this year. It's really one of the selling points of these three books for me. The quick audibles are really nice in this book.

Anyways, here are the ones I use frequently:

    Gun Split - HB Direct
Gun Tight Flex - Quick Looks
Weak Tight Pair - FB Blast

Thanks and yeah I have realized that it is easier to do quick audibles. I wish the Run Balanced PB had Gun Tight Flex lol

I haven't really been looking for unbumpables, to be honest. I usually use the flats to make people pay for bumping. Usually I have a back that goes to the flats and if a bump happens those two will get in the way of the LB covering the flats. Aside from that, I haven't had to many problems against because if the backs aren't going to the flats, they are blocking to give me extra time.

Sadly, you may have to wait a while. I'm not really into singleback unfortunately. I just find that I can pass adequately from 2-back sets and run well enough from Shotgun. Singleback is simply too easy to nano, IMO.

no one ever gets open or it takes too long for the play to develop which results in a sack/incompletion (i use dallas). also the falcons cross play seems to get too crowded in the middle sometime which messes up all of the routes, but it doesnt happen too often. but every time i try to run that play it hardly ever works. i go through my reads and follow what you say which is why i was wondering why it wasnt working for me. i used your pit pb last year and loved it, it helped me out a lot and got me on the right track.

Michura thanks so much for doing a write up on Far Tight Twins, by far my favorite formation in the game. I love how you setup a Deep, Short and Flex options out of the same play. Are you plan on doing any other writeups on the Far or Near formations. Quick Toss is by far my favorite running play in the game.
