    Ravens fans

The Chiefs with Brodie Croyle at the helm put up 24 against these Ravens. S.D put up 26 and Rivers threw for 430. People are always talking about (and people on THIS BOARD) about how the Ravens have Ed Reed,Ray Lewis Ngata and Suggs and that their defense this and their defense that. Rex Ryan leaves and people are almost putting up 30 points a game and he comes here and no one has scored on us yet.

When Rex came here I sat and listened to all your shananigans about how Rex is just a coordinator and he had Lewis and company and him leaving wouldn't be no big thing. I'm sorry folks the proof is in the pudding.

The Ravens defense moved to NY. Even though they looking suspect you still have to respect them because I wouldn't expect this to be a consistant thing. The Jets D look 99 tough right now and Buff looking good. Now that new Broncos 3-4........ WOW we are getting sacks, have surpassed our win expectations by 2 games, anything else is just gravy at this point. Lol

LOL the football God are hard at work.

Oh I respect the Ravens, I actually really like the Ravens. Always have and it's not that the Ravens have come to New York, Rex Ryan came to New York. I just find it odd that their defense AGAINST BRODIE CROYLE let up so many points and now San Diego?

All I'm saying is people don't give Rex Ryan enough credit. That offense is carrying that team right now.

I actually like this new Jets movement. Buddy.....I mean Rex Ryan got that Old Spice swagger. The Jets sort of have an identity now and that NE game was a huge statement yesterday.

Too early for all that. They held KC to 188 yards of offense, followed up by holding SD to 45 yards rushing. We all know Rivers can sling it...

Good thread Mello. Rex is showing his worth, that's for sure. And for the record if Sanchez turns out to be what he appears to be turning out to be and Curry is a bust you owe me 20 bucks.

K, with that said...BAL's D only gave up less than 200 pass yards to KC and less than 50 rush yards to SD...

Also, they are scoring much quicker than in the past...their D is on the field a lot and because they are scoring, esp vs SD, Rivers was forced to air it out most of the game.

    "Ravens Defens is bad"
    "How bad is it?"
"Raven's defense is so bad, that the NE defense (the worst defense in football) has given up less points"

I think the Ravens will come back to their normal selves. too many veterans on that team to let the departure of a coach force them down the tubes.
I knew Pacquio was getting knocked out when they showed Romney in his dressing room wishing him luck.

    Absolutely terrible post. Wow.

All you have to do is look at the last play of the game and you will see why the Ravens Defense is as good as it is. Maybe you should watch the games instead of just checking the scores and running your mouth.

We pretty much dominated the Chiefs in week one. The Chiefs punted on every possession in the first 3 quarters with the exception of a blocked punt for a TD, and an INT returned to the 8 yard line. They gained 61 yards of total offense in the first 3 quarters. I'm not sure what more you want the defense to do?

As far as San Diego.....if you watched it you would know that SD played a damn good game on offense. Rivers throws the ball downfield alot, and you are going to get some big plays from it. But we made him pay for those throws with turnovers and Ray came through when we needed him. Rex Ryan doesn't shoot gaps like that.

Don't get all gassed up because you beat a patriots team that should have been beat by the Bills last week too. Brady looked terrible and Welker was out.

I agree with this. The Ravens look fine to me. I think Jets fans are getting a little too excited about beating a team that should be 0-2 right now, has a QB who is coming off of knee surgery, and was missing some starters on both sides of the ball. So far the Pats of 2009 have looked nothing like the Pats of 2007 (not even close). I am not trying to take anything away from the Jets but lets not let it get out of hand in the first 2 weeks. There is a lot of football left to play.

To be fair, 7 of the points from the Chiefs game came from a blocked punt recovery in the endzone. Can't really put that on the defense. And the Charger should have an explosive offense. Way too soon to really say anything about their defense.

I think Rivers threw for 450. Bro thats no excuse. Rex not being there is hurting their defense. Clearly!

Bro your seriously like a little girl having her rag for the first time. I never insulted your team and nor was I coming off like a know it all so cool off your vagina a little bit.

Make all the excuses you want about stats. Stats are nothing, TD's are everything. I don't care if K.C or S.D had minimal rushing yards, Rivers threw up 450 and in the last 2 games the Ravens defense has let in damn near 60 points.

My only point I was making is when we first got Rex people were quick to say it was no big deal, that it really wasn't about Rex his schemes or his passion. It was about the monsters the Ravens have on D and I partially agree with that and I realize it's still early but there is NO QUESTION that Rex's absence hasn't been felt early.

    Just sayin

That team will be awesome and a major threat when they iron out the wrinkles. Like superbowl could be in the works.
