How do you cause fumbles with big hits

Explain the hit stick and how to get a big hit. What is the proper technique? When I go against a big back I flick my hit stick down it doesn’t hit him low. Do I need to strafe before? When I flick high it knocks the back back a few yard but never causes a fumble. When I try to strip it rarely works Do you hold the but to strip or tap it fast?

When ur playin vs a big back like Barber or Jacobs its best to go for a normal tackle.Even tryin to stick them low doesnt work that well.

In general the hit sticks weird.B4 i tryed hittin guys at a angle low an it'll hit them high.

As for the strip button it seems way more effective when u hit guys from behind.

Other than that its all about takin the proper angles. But even if u square up perfectly the best backs will still break tackles reguardless.

for stripping the ball i think its just best to use it at the right time, because its an animation so once you do it hitting it a bunch of times is kinda useless.

Well im not exactly sure, but im just saying that its an animation, like if you come from behind a guy, you wanna hit it at the right time, you can tell when someone is trying to strip. If you got him ganged up and hes standing up, maybe you could keep pressing it, idk how that works

if you are running can you keep hitting a to stiff arm? I always figured it was a timing thing

Tapping the strip button is the way to go. I cause a lot of fumbles that way.

I will try tapping the L1 button from now on, I used to hold it.

I find that hit stick works better from the front, if you use hit stick up and get square on the guy he usually fumbles.

    Lightbulb

I have more luck causing fumbles when using the hit stick if I press UP, seems to hit them up high.

Hit Stick DOWN usually only cuts their legs, i.e. a high pass and you want to clip the WR's legs while he's in the air. Can cause an incomplete pass which is nice.

I haven't had much luck w/ the strip button.
