Stopping QB run backs & PAP
Curious on how people stop these two issues that i am having recently.
1. At times I have issues with players who run back 10-20 yards right away with the right trigger (thought this was suppose to be fixed), then turn around heave the ball and 90% if not more, their guy gets it. I try blitzing, zone, or a combo of both.
If i blitz he gets it off asap even if its an ugly throw & catch they at times get big plays. If I sit in zone he runs back and even has more time to view the players progression.
2. The PAP is the bane of my existence. I can also play man, zone, bnr, blitz, and my guys are dumb as door nails. I understand that certain ratings have influence on it, but every time, they cannot be that dumb or bad.
I have played guys, especially one just now, that I KNEW he was going for a PAP, but I could do nothing to stop him most of the time.
Freaking annoying when people do those things and no matter what i seem to try nothing is that helpful/useful.
I was trying to figure out some of these things, not sure if its me, or maybe my team, but having issues & was looking for some insight/help.
I play with the NY Giants...
Webster is 87 speed, with like a low 90 man cvg and 90 zone cvg i believe
Ross 88 spd, with man in the mid 80s as well as zone
Thomas is like 85 spd i believe with 70's man cvg & low 80s zone
Any help is appreciated.
