Cool Can we get a league up for PS2 players

It seems that we all love to play madden then why cant we get a league up for those who would like to take there game to the next level? It seems that xbox 360 have a league and plenty of them along with playstation 3 but at this time it seems that we dont have any at this time. Why cant the members of this forums which is the PS2 start up a league and carry it out the right way? We could have oneday we handle league busniess and friday thourgh sunday we play games. The idea would work if we were all on the same page and took the time to make sure every one was straight. Have a set of rules and have the standing post after the games was play or the next day. My question is why cant we do that why is it that we just leave it for the next and the next man to help our game system out. I would be down for a league but is there anyone else in our forum who would join me in that venture. If you care to start a league then post yes if not then post no at least show VG YOU COUNT MY VOTE IS YES THANKS ALC

You know of a league but you're too lazy to ask questions on how things are run so you just quit. I wouldn't take this guy in any league.

I'd be down for a league.

    We need to:
    1. Choose a commish (probably you ALC)
    2. Make a set of rules for game, penaltys for no shows, etc.
    3. Choose a random order for people to choose their team
    4. Make a schedule & when playoffs start
    5. Start playing.

As in real football, do you mean a video game? Because I'll quickpass you all the way down the field. And don't bump n run if you don't want unbumps all game.

Not on my D. Geeze, how do people expect to be good when they don't even try to play at an elite level. You guys don't know how to stop something so you just decide not to play against it. Bum status.

Some folks like football, and even understand some of the methodology and concepts behind it. So they enjoy playing as close to a real nfl game as possible. It is a waste of time to play someone that plays that type of style (take advantage of the A.I. - NFL BLITZ, etc.), especially if your older, more mature player that is not into all the gimmicks/faults in the A.I. of the game. Kudos to you though, for being able to quick pass up and down the field - you should be proud! Does that make you feel better about yourself? It certainly doesnt make your understanding of football any better, only at the tournament game scene maybe. To each his own though, play how you want to - you paid the $$ for the "game". Me personally, i'll try to ask before to see if my opponent is sim, or free style, etc. to avoid wasting each others time. The "Bum status" term cracks me up. I remember folks throwing that term around in '03. How do call someone a bum at a video game? Reminds me of name calling in elementary, its hilarious. Oh well...

    Dude...

...you just don't get it. Some of us are just looking for a decent game of football.
I understand if you want to play it like an arcade game, that is your right. Is it so hard to accept that some of us would rather play something that resembles real football?
Some of the best games i have ever played have been losses. Whether by a late field goal, or a touchdown in overtime, as long as the game was enjoyable, it doesn't matter. I know that seems like a waste of time to you, but i would rather play a fair game than just try to see who can fool the A.I. the best.
I have played alot of really good ballers, and have learned alot of stuff, even in a loss. My goal is to play the best game of "football" that i can.
If that's not your style, more power to you. Please, don't put me down for wanting to play a little different.
