I never played many other game modes other than team deathmatch, free-for-all, domination, and ground war, I was wondering what is the best to play if you want to rank up quick? I really want my ACR.
In TDM you get 100 points per kill, but I think it's easier to get kills on domination or free for all. I tried HQ Pro a few times and I always seem to get raped because everyone is sitting at one spot and it's just a huge firefight.

Search is universally considered the best, as you get 5-10 times more points per kill (depending on what game you compare it to). I stopped playing it on MW2 because the care packages and killstreaks completely ruined the tactical element of the game.

The maps with high points give you a gap in respawn time...so You don't get nearly the kills.
Headquarter pro is good because you get extra points from keeping the HQ. Also dom in good because if you capture or take a flag you get extra points. Like 250 or something...by the end of the game it's like getting 10 or 15 extra kills....But you'll take a ton of deaths so kiss your KD ratio goodbye.

Wow, that's crazy. I only get 100 on team deathmatch, but that's probably a lot easier to get kills than SD. I might have to mess around with search and destroy, but I would figure a lot of the great players and dudes with super high rank play it.Originally Posted by Gtrght77

If you can put together a few killstreaks you can have 5-7k matches pretty often. You can also die fast and get nothing though. In a close game the bonus is pretty large compared to the others.

Search. Not only do the kills give you a bunch, but the games are quick and the match bonus is large.
S&D gives u the most points, but I think it evens out since you don't complete all of the weapon and perk challenges as fast since u don't get as many kills
