    Road To The Show

Wondering what you guys have going in RTTS.

Right now I've got a 19 y.o. pitcher in his second year. Presently the #5 starter at AAA in May. He's 3-0 with a 1.28 ERA. I expect a call up to the Big Show soon.

I've got a 24 year old pitcher. Ace for the Angels. 1 year in AA, half a year in AAA, the next 4 in MLB, on my 5th year. Went 33-0 in one year. 100 on my velocity, control and break on all 3 of my pitches (Curve, Fastball, Knuckler) and most of my stats are near 100. Except fielding. Its an F xD I've won Cy Young in 5 years, and MVP twice. Got one World Series, and I'm hoping to get out of the Angels this year. They're horrid. The only year we went over .500 is that World Series year. I went 33-0 that year.

33-0? That's winning every start. You playing on Rookie level?

Booooo Xaos, you gotta play on All-Star before pumping the chest lol. Glad your having fun though. I have a 19 yr old power hitting first basemen in AAA right now. He's basically Russel Branyan, sink or swim.
Welker a possesion WR's just like all Caucasian WR's so when you can no longer do that, you gotta sit the bench or learn how to kick FGs or Punts -STICKTHEVICKTIM

I suck at hitting, for whatever reason xD I got good timing, but I suck at discipline/vision.

Well the whole point is to improve on it. If you went in dominating right away it would lose its appeal. I was pretty bad in All-Star but it comes down to patience. Try not to free wheel with the L3 stick. Keep your batting centered and good things will come.

I got a 20 year old starting pitcher. One full season in AA, started this season in AA, called up then back down, but now I am back up in AAA and 1-0 so far. I pitched in the playoffs last year but blew game 5 after 5 innings in relief in like the 14th inning.

I might make the 40 man roster call ups this year if I keep doing well.

In Hall of Fame mode, I have a 23 yr old, 3rd year player playing left field for the Blue Jays. I want to be traded to the National League! Visually speaking, I like playing in NL parks better.

Finally having a good year - hitting around .390 in May. I'm sure my hot streak will level off later in the season due to my low 'Duration' attributes.

Seems like most guys choose to be a pitcher in RTTS. Pitching just doesn't seem to appeal to me that much I guess.

    Sortable

i think you gotta increase gameplay level as you go along for maximum fun/replay value/challenge... the way i do it

    AA - rookie level
    AAA - veteran level
Rookie Year - Hall of fame level(rookies take lumps)
    years 2 through 12 - All-star level
years 13+ - hall of fame level(as you decline it get harder to stay on top)

starting a new RTTS season as a pitcher today.

Just started my new RTTS as a SP started it out on veteran, and will bump up to all-star for AAA and HoF for the bigs. my repertoire includes:

    4 Seamer
    Slurve
    Knuckle Curve

my Fastball is currently at 93-94. They started me out in the royals famr system. im 2 months in right now. first 5 or 6 apperances they brought me in as the 7th inning guy. picked up a hold, 3 wins, and a loss.

they then moved me to long releif, where i had 2 dominant outings for wins in releif(4+ innings 5+ K's 0 ER). so at 5-1 and meeting all my goals they tell me im in the rotation. i've made 3 starts:

    6 2/3 0 ER 6 K, win
    9 IP 1 ER 8 K, win
    6 ip 1 ER, 7K, ND

    im sitting at:
    7-1
    1.87 ERA
    1.03 WHIP
    .210 BAA
    48 K/ 6 BB in 41 2/3 IP

good start, hopefully i get up to triple A this season, where i will look to add a 2 seamer

I hAVE A 24 yr old 3rd baseman. Lol, I got stuck with the A's, that seemingly traded everyone away and I was left playing with garbage. I had a couple .400 seasons with not much power until last year when I hit 34 HRs. Lol, I asked to be traded after finishing WAAAAAAAY below .500 the whole time....got traded to the ****ing O's. Dude, wtf.
