Germany plastered Australia today, but let's not get over-excited just yet. Australia had a little bit to do with how good Germany looked. Team USA looked great against Australia too, and then had a tough time generating the same attack against England...

Germany is a power house. Forget all that about Australia being a weak team. The US stands NO chance against Germany.

australia may not be a completely weak team, but they had horrific tactics which gave them ZERO chance of containing Germany. that article explains exactly what they did wrong and that outcome would have happened 9 times out of 10 whether that was australia or italy (and you best believe italy would never defend like that)
If Bob Bradley is a good manager, which I think he is, he won't make the same mistake in his approach to that potential round of 16 game against Germany... but all that depends on if the US finishes 2nd in the group.
