    Germany putting on a show

That last goal sequence impressed even a non-soccer fan like me.

    Which goal # was that?

The 3rd and 4th goals were great counter attacks. Wow.

And horrible no call on the 2nd England goal.

England looked slooooooooooow and old ...

    England got found out:

They need to go back to the drawing board.

Germany is looking really good. Dismantling England like that was nice to see... now, Argentina beat Germany 1-0 in a friendly a few months ago with pretty much the same players on both teams. So next saturday hopefully will be an awesome game.. can't wait!!!

Not taking anything away from the Germans but we (England) have played absolute crap the entire World Cup.

We didn't even deserve to make it out the group stage after losing to Algeria.

The counter attack after the dude's free kick got stuffed by the wall was niiiiiiiiiiiiiice there was a pass what looked about 30 yards that was nice as hell. On the ground and on the money.

Then the other counter attack some dude chipped a pass down the sidelines that was great. And the german receiving it, busted his @$$ to get it. lol the England dude looked like a bad slow safety, taking a terrible angle and trailing.

But that was a game changer when they didn't call that goal for England. I think the game gets played out differently if the right call is made. I'm not saying Alemania loses, but I don't think it's 4-1.

I don't think the Lamps goal being awarded would have changed much in the long run because the Germans were different class and some, nay, most of their play off the ball was out of the top drawer, especially Ozil.

devastating to lose to germany like that.. but they totally outplayed argentina in every part of the field... these guys break it down exactly like i saw it:
    http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/07/...er-and-better/

maradona was good for bringing the team together, motivating them and all, but when it comes to tactics, it's a whole different ball game. he got found out. germany invested in totally revamping their system from the younger levels on up, and they are really really impressive. england, brasil, france, italy, argentina better all figure it out quick or else germany is going to be dominating for a while...
