Can someone explain the "press" plays to me?

Some sets have cover 2 man, and cover 2 man press. Or cover 3 and cover 3 press. Is there a difference in these plays?

Im pretty sure that just means they come out already in bump n run, not 100% though I've never tried them.

That is correct, the DBs automatically BnR when you come out in "Press" plays.

Yeah I just saw something on another website, apparently if you fake blitz these plays will still bump and run?

If they are in a deep zone they won't actually bump. They just appear like they will bump to disguise the coverage.

the most common use of the press plays is also disguising your coverage. the alignment and disposition of the CB and NB are different then the normal ones, leaving you in a better position presnap

So man press looks like normal coverage, but they bump, and zone press looks like bump and run but isn't?
