Coach Reid's Comments: " Well, we are just very disappointed to have lost this game. We know we were the better team but made a few mistakes, and coach ShakenEm capitalized. We came out dominating the game, up 17-7 at the half, and we started the second half with possession...we pretty much lost focus after that, and gave up some dumb plays. The worst being when we were up 20-14 and they were near the goal line in the 4th quarter....our D came up with a huge INT that would have nearly sealed the game for us, only to be called back due to a weak roughing the passer call. And usually I don't criticize the officiating, but you can go ahead and fine me cuz that call makes Jim Joyce look like a hero. After that, they scored on a quick slant pass and took the league. Unfortunately, we lost patience on Offense and weren't able to execute...we had guys open all over the field but Vick made some bad reads, although he did much better than Alex Smith last week. After the game, Coach Shakenem pretty much said he had us figured out which i found comical....it would be a great rematch for us, ill tell you that much.
