Unfortunately my opponent is not responding to my texts or my posts here.

What really sucks is I'm going out of town tomorrow and this game will probably get simmed and I've been trying to get this game in for the last two days.

I'm with Pick You Off on his suggestion about advancing.

I don't want to tell anyone how to run a league, but I'll share what works in the league I run:

1) Require everyone to post their availability and have a deadline each week they must do it by.
2) If one player posts by that deadline and the other doesn't, boot the non-poster after the posting deadline so his opponent can play the CPU and reinvite him
3) If neither player posts, they have until a hard deadline to play, or it gets simmed.
4) If both players post, you make a ruling based on who was the most available. That person plays the CPU.

That way the league keeps advancing. People will drop from time to time, but I think a big reason games aren't getting played is because there isn't necessarily a hard deadline.

My two cents...just want this league to be successful as its a good group of guys here and I know from experience people will sit on their hands if they know you're going to wait for them.

I agree with monk, this process works. After a certain amount of times of bootiing the same person, you know that he should be replaced.
