I'm about 7000 points away from reaching level 50. I heard someone over the mic says it costs 50k COD points to prestige which I am no where near. Can anyone tell me if this is true or not so I can start saving up if it is?

The 50K is for the Prestige Leaderboards, which aren't a requirement when prestiging.
Is that just so your stats will start counting on the prestige leaderboards? Or is there a better benefit for using the 50k?

Did you get the game yet, bum? Seeing as how I mostly played with you, I'd have been playing solo anyways had I gotten it for the ps3! Suck it.
