Not getting it. I play sports game to play people online not some weak *** AI. I got burned 2 y ears in a row with the lag, and I doubt they fixed it again.

Playing the CPU AI in MLB TS's higher levels is anything but weak. It ain't madden where you can use one cheese play all game. MLB TS vs the cpu is pretty badasz, especially in chise mode.

I was just reading the forums over there, looks like they put online on lockdown until midnight PST so that the east coasters don't get a head start... lol
An hour and 15 min until i go pick it up. I'm exhausted though so i may not play an online game tonight, just load it up and peep around a bit. I'm off tomorrow though so it'll be coffee, bagel and MLBTS for breakfast

I like the fact that we can have a full league. If your serious about winning the league or getting into the playoffs you better clean up against the computer and pick up those ratio stats!
One can only hope lag has been corrected because i'm already excited about the VG league.

I picked it up... I love it! Mind you I haven't played the show since ps2 days... and I've been stuck with 2k for xbox the past 4 or so years... It's like Christmas all over again.

I just get no satisfaction from playing the AI... eventually it all becomes predictable.

I played an offline exhibition game and created my RTTS pitcher. Haven't played an online game yet but I think JRob and I are gonna run one shortly. We'll let ya know how that goes as far as lag.
Not a fan of analog controls so I've already switched to buttons for everything. No big deal there.
RTTS changes are nice, it no longer gives those "get a ground out/strike out/pitch around" individual items for each batter when you are pitching. It give you a Perfomance rating after each batter. Basically, if you get him out, you get XP, if you don't, you lose points. The quality of the out... K or double play is worth more.
Will report on online after playing one.
