Well we played last night, gotta admit it was the most fun I'd had in a long time. The rooms are definitely clean, no hacking at all. The patch did it's job. Didn't even have any connection problems. We played for about 3 hours also didn't run into one MLC tac knife person or OMA danger close person. It finally seems you can play this game the way it was meant to be played.
BTW there is still tons of people online playing so finding or getting into a match is no problem. We're going to continue to play since we both hated Black Ops. So if anyone wants to party up this weekend let me know we'll be on tonight and quite a bit tomorrow.

To me this is all my opinion, it seems slower paced action, the maps aren't as good as the ones on MW2, the hit detection is absolutely awful, the spawn system is a freakin' joke lag on the servers but this is on both games. The other part is it is boring as there is nothing to work on for the game. This is big for me in Black Ops there is no titles or emblems to earn nothing. So after getting to one prestige I felt like I had already experienced everything there was to do in multiplayer, aside from the Golden Guns which lets face it isn't that great to entice me to get 15 prestiges worth lol. The XP you earn almost means nothing challenges mean nothing, you know what guns you like you know what camo's you like those are the only things you unlock once you get past the first couple levels after prestiging.
That's my reasons for not liking it. That and on PS3 no one ever partied up. You remember in MW2 on PS3 we would have guys 4,5 or 6 people sometimes even more a night party up from VG and we would play partied up all night. That never happened in Black Ops.
I don't think its a coincidence this board was hopping when MW2 was out for several pages of topics and posts. Since Black Ops has been out, there is only what 2 or 3 pages of them.

i see.. i will say the spawn point are horrible!!! but thats been every cod IMO.. ive never had problems with hit detection.. i actually think its very realistic.. but i do play hardcore only.. which i love and wont play regular anymore. I agree i did like the old maps a bit better.. but there are a few that i like and now with the new map pack i like about 5-6 of the maps alot.. and the others are manageable.. yah i never see anyone from VG on... ive actually had to make tons of ps friends that i party with all the time becuase the vg guys arnt around

No doubt, and playing with a bunch of randoms was extremely boring to me. The only map I really liked when I played was Radiation I thought that map was done really well, I didn't even get into hardcore when I played after I did the regular modes and the gun game, wager matches etc. I was so bored I traded it in. Also I think it's dumb, to get marathon pro you had to play CTF a mode that I hate.

I can't argue with most of Dgen's points if you aren't playing in a full party. The game just isn't fun when playing solo. I've been playing a lot of Demolition as of late and In a 6 man party we got 3 or more guys going 50+ kills and usually 1 or 2 going for 100+ kills. It's fun when there is a sr71 in the air the entire time. Talk about a fast paced game...

I can play TDM solo but that's about it. It's actually better to play TDM solo in my opinion because a lot of times if you have a big party, you'll only get matched up against other parties. I'd rather just roll through all the random noobs. I've been getting 30-40 kills a game in TDM the past few weeks solo.
Playing Demo, CTF, and Headquarters with a party who knows how to work together is great though. You won't have the idiots who plant both of the bombs even though you are spawn trapping them or capping flags instead of just letting the game keep going.

These clowns are still trying to hack but all it does now is freeze the game, still rather annoying.
Exactly it wasn't too bad in the first few days when we had me Immaculateness, miracle, and Pat all partied up, but that faded quickly and it got extremely boring just playing with randoms.
I've played it everyday since the patch but I've not had any freezes yet or any hacks. I'm on PS3 though. It's nice to be working on my challenges again.

we party up all the time on PS3. KGS, Me, Raspus, and a few other friends of ours.
Miracle plays hardcore, Patt never answers, and I've had dudes like Abelgein, goatster, etc join up with me too. (All VG'rs)
