B/c if he did then the criticism would just shift to him "caving under pressure" or something like what your seeing now. Obama will be alright when he gets a little bit of George Bush in him. Respect and perception about this country has been dwindling since the early 60's and has more to do with foreign policy stances as opposed to the prez. Plus you could print a novel as thick as war and peace of unpresidential behavior down through the ages.

Just to add how disingenuous Trump was he said on air with George Stephanopoulos that he would release his tax records if Obama released his birth certificate. I have no faith it will happen because he's a huckster and unfortunatley he has followers that hang on every word.
