I lost to ECU w/ South Carolina

Dude was good, but man I'm bad at this game. I looked at ECU's roster and they are terrible. They have a QB and WRs, but they suck everywhere else.

50 yard RC between 4 defenders for the win.

This game is awesome, but its forcing me to rethink my entire way of thinking when playing Madden. I can't seem to understand why some things happen like they do.

Sometimes I'll run a 4 deep zone with purples on the outsides and a pass commit and the sidelines are still wiide open. Other times it D's them just fine.

    How do I achieve consistency?

I play extremely aggressive. This game is indeed a different animal. I run nothing but my run and shoot from Madden and force my opponents to feel uncomfortable. On defense I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes it works extremly well and then others my pass rush doesn't take care of business.

I completely understand. My record in Madden '11: 18-0. My record in NCAA '12: 0-4. It's probably because I'm trying to bring my exact same pro style offense back into NCAA that I used with success in Madden. I will really have to re-think what I am doing, because I'm getting clobbered.

i started out horrible as well, 0-6... turned it around somewhat and 21-15 or something like that. On D i just try to get the same look no matter what im doing, blitzin, coverage etc.. so it keeps my opponent guessing. My offense is just meh right now, but im using a run and shoot style currently. I think im avg 16 points on offense, and giving up 15 on D.

I started out 5-0. Than, its was like my d couldnt do anything. I was able to stable my play at 6-4. I play stop the run... Stop the run then force my opponent to pass. Zone normally works well for me. If I can get my opponent to 4 and 6-7, I dont have to worry about the flats that much.

Teams matter ALOT this year. I've yet to lose with LSU and I had an 11 game losing streak with Kentucky.

I picked up the 4-2-5 book by Philly Ron and i've been making some good stops. Lot's of good heat to quell the spread. Franchise, we should get a rematch lol!

I love how diverse it is, I hope I can run this type of scheme in Madden as well since the Giants are pretty top heavy with good DBs & CBs. I love the lineup of the 4-2-5. Some of those blitz angles are pretty deadly with no adjustments needing to be made.
