Free Agency, Resigning Period and Free Agent Biding [FASL Off Season]

What's up Fellas!!!

Congratulations to Terminator945’s (aka ZAZA) Panthers in winning FASL’s season 1 Super Bowl. It was a very competitive game that went back and forth but in the end Zaza prevailed and is our Season 1 Champion. Better luck next time MoneyMoesh and congrats on being the AFC champs!!

Now that the SB is over it’s officially off season. There are some steps involved and hopefully we get through them with no hiccups. It is more important than ever to be in the loop as to what is going on the next couple of days or to simply put it you might be assed out if u don’t. Check your email and the forums the next 3 days to stay current.

1st order of business is Resigning Period. You will have until Monday November 7th 10:59pm EST to resign key players that you want back on your roster. Go to the contact year player tab and resign the players that you would like back for the next season and do not sign the ones you don’t want back. They will automatically be dropped to free agency once resigning is up. This roster addition is limited to those who have enough cap room to add players. If you do not have enough room to sign the player, you will be denied the ability to process the signing.

The 2nd order of business is Free Agent Bidding. Free Agent bidding will be open Monday November 7th 11:00 PM EST until Wednesday November 9th 10:59 PM EST. You will have until than to bid on Free Agents and dropped players. Again you need to have enough cap space to bid. Go the Free Agent bidding tab in League Manager to bid on available free agents. At the end the FA bidding period, the player with the highest bid is awarded that player to his team. League Manager processes all of the winners and directly puts them on the winning bidders team. All transactions will be reflected once I close the bidding period.

The 3rd order of business is Progression. I will advance the league to the next season on PS3 Wednesday November 9th 11:00 PM EST so it could reflect season’s 2 progression in preparation for the rookie draft. Trading will re-open at that time for draft picks (if you’re not going to be there DO NOT TRADE FOR PICKS!) or just a straight up trade. If a player trades for picks and is not present at the draft it will be voided. I Advice everyone to do their trading AFTER the season has been advanced on PS3 so it can reflect accurate progression. If you choose to trade before than it’s your fault for not listening, as some players will regress.

The 4th Order of business is FASL’s Season 2 Rookie Draft which will be held on Thursday November 10th 10PM EST. Mark it on your calendar. Most people have school/work off the following day so it shouldn’t be a problem. Make sure to drop Seven players off your roster in preparation for the draft because the CPU will automatically drop some players you may have wanted. This Also needs to be done on League Manager. Again all TRANSACTION WILL BE DONE ON LEAGUE MANAGER FROM THIS POINT FORWARD. The commissioners will closely monitor this and issue sanctions if this is disregarded.
