Need advice on best way to klearn Madden 12 when I have never played any before

Hello,

Bare with me, I am a 55 year old who bought a Xbox 360 just to play sports games like NHL 12 and madden 12.
I have found out that EA Sports ships their products with no instructions at all, what is the best way to learn how to play Madden 12.

I don't play online I just want to play on my Xbox 360 against the computer for now.

I looked at the menus and I am at a loss as to what to do first?

is there a guide of some sort that would tell someone how to play the game? I need something that starts at the beginging and then I might worry about strategies later.

I understand football, now if I can understand how to play this game........lol

Well if what you're looking for is a manual, with controls and an explanation of the game modes, they provide a manual that is on the game itself. This is what they do now ether than providing a physical pamphlet with the game. I know if you're playing a game, it's on the pause menu. And I believe of you go to my madden, it's there as well.

Hey, there is a manual in the pause menu (not like the old days though that came with a 30 page sega booklet)

Our 2012 guide includes controls and can be bought as a PDF on primagames website. I think hopping in practice mode though just labbing some plays and seeing what each button doesn will help you the most. Start with basic controls and then work slowly with the pre snap hot routes on defense etc.

SGibs has 200+ shows called Mad-den TV that can help you go a little more in depth once you get the controls!
