Madden 11 improved the exchanges between receivers and defenders along with the exchange between blockers and defenders. Madden 12 improved user control and the logic AI. Both these aspects delved into the heart of the gameplay - where changes in past years were more geared towards the aesthetic.

The click-on responsiveness in M12 is unmatched, IMO. I user catch everything in M12. I've never been able to do that in any version of Madden - and I've been playing a long time.

Blockers are smarter. Defenders are smarter. Defenders take better angles against runners and react better to thrown balls. Back-shoulder and face throws still give the AI trouble, but user defender responsiveness helps fill that gap. Madden has come a long way from 11 to 12.

I've never had an issue with usering through the years in madden, I really felt a difference in the college though.
I don't agree with your assessment with improved blocking so much. They will pick up that a gap heat pretty good, but the RT sliding to pick up LOS DE is total bs. Defenders aren't smarter there more psychic.

I don't really understand what you're trying to say, but I try to user everything on D. I used to mess up alot early in the year, but I stopped messing up the more I played. In other years, I felt helpless in many user situations. I never felt like that in 12.

I have to agree with GAV this year madden is real solid and as far as M13 from what ive seen so far looks like there headed towards the right direction
